Job description
About KIRA
KIRA's mission is to democratize financial services by making money management intelligent, dependable, and accessible to all. Since launching the first mobile-first insurance platform in Southeast Asia in 2019, KIRA has become the region's leading insurance solution, serving millions online. The company is expanding its fintech offerings to include spending, saving, investment, currency exchange, travel services, and more, with a core belief that artificial intelligence will be key to empowering users to gain more control and expertise over their finances.
Role Overview
We are seeking passionate and driven Product Owners to helm specific product domains within KIRA's AI-driven financial ecosystem. This role demands builders who can empathize with user needs, shape product vision, collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and design, execute rapid launches, and iterate post-release for continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage product areas across insurance, payments, savings, investment, travel, or related financial offerings.
- Identify user challenges, define product scope, success metrics, roadmaps, and launch strategies.
- Collaborate extensively with engineering, design, data analysts, operations, compliance, and business stakeholders.
- Transform intricate financial products into straightforward, user-friendly customer experiences.
- Leverage data, user input, research, and system issues to guide product refinements.
- Oversee feature launches, monitor their performance, and steer iteration cycles.
- Balance trade-offs among speed, user experience, business impact, regulatory compliance, and operational complexity.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in roles such as Product Manager, Product Owner, founder, or growth/product operational positions.
- Strong intuition for product design and capacity to streamline complex processes.
- Capability to work closely with engineers and designers to deliver tangible products.
- Comfortable analyzing metrics, gathering user feedback, running experiments, and deriving insights after launch.
- Excellent communication skills, strong prioritization, and adeptness in managing stakeholders.
- High degree of ownership and initiative with minimal supervision.
- Background in fintech, insurance, payments, consumer applications, or fast-paced product environments is highly desirable.
Desired Builder Qualities
- Focuses on solving authentic user problems rather than compiling feature lists.
- Makes informed decisions even with partial information.
- Embraces rapid product shipping and learns continuously from outcomes.
- Collaborates effectively with engineering teams without over-relying on process.
- Transparent about the impact of their contributions compared to the broader team effort.
Role Exclusions
- Individuals who primarily create presentations without driving execution.
- Product managers who lack hands-on collaboration with engineering.
- Candidates requiring perfect data before making decisions.
- Those who lose engagement after releasing features.
- Managers who overstate business impacts without acknowledging attribution.
Additional Details
This is a fully remote position; however, the applicant must reside in Ireland, as this recruitment specifically targets the Irish market. English fluency is essential for effective communication within global teams.
Interview Process
- Online assessment or practical task.
- Role-specific interview.
- Final interview round with CEO.
Strong candidates can expect the entire selection process, from assessment to offer, to be completed within one week, prioritizing those who promptly complete assessments.
