Job description

Role Overview and Responsibilities

RiDiK, a subsidiary of CLPS (Nasdaq: CLPS), is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join their team in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The position is a full-time, onsite role focused on enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, and analytics projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the formulation of requirements and translating vague business needs into well-structured functional specifications and backlog items, ensuring clarity and actionable outcomes. This role requires active involvement within Agile/Scrum methodologies, including backlog management using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira. Additionally, the candidate will operate within established governance frameworks, covering aspects such as data classification, stewardship models, and data quality service level agreements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related disciplines. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Over 5 years of professional experience working as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, or Product Owner in enterprise-scale data platform, data warehouse, or analytics contexts.
  • Proficient in defining requirements for cloud data platforms, with strong preference for hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric technologies, as well as Informatica products including IDMC, PowerCenter, Axon, and EDC.
  • Working knowledge of data modeling methodologies (such as dimensional modeling and medallion/bronze-silver-gold architectures), data lineage practices, and master data management principles.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory environments related to data privacy and industry-specific standards.

Technical Expertise

  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft Fabric components: including OneLake architecture, Shortcut mechanisms, distinctions between Lakehouse and Warehouse patterns, Data Factory pipelines and Dataflow Gen2, Real-Time Intelligence with EventStream/Eventhouse, Power BI with Direct Lake semantic models, Purview governance, and F-SKU capacity planning.
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), covering Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Data Quality, Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC), Metadata Command Center, Master Data Management SaaS applications, Data Marketplace, and CLAIRE AI automation tools.
  • Experience operating within Agile delivery frameworks and backlog management systems such as Azure DevOps and Jira.
