Job Summary
The Product Operations Lead plays a vital role within the store leadership team, responsible for implementing the store's product strategy, managing product operations, and overseeing inventory. Key duties include directing inventory shifts, managing all back-of-house product operations, ensuring that both the sales floor and stock areas are well maintained and organized. This role provides feedback for team performance reviews, participates in hiring decisions, and serves as Supervisor on Duty during inventory shifts. Additionally, when working on the floor, this individual delivers a premium customer experience focused on product education.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with store leadership to effectively implement product strategy.
- Proactively plan, prioritize, and oversee inventory handling and accuracy following standard operating procedures.
- Ensure execution of product-related actions such as pullbacks, consolidations, and repricing.
- Create an engaging and productive environment for inventory management shifts to motivate team members.
- Monitor product stock levels and communicate insights to support sales strategies and ensure optimal product availability.
- Analyze daily business metrics and product sell-through data to provide actionable recommendations to store management, including pricing guidance for outlets.
- Participate actively in recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training of store staff.
- Support team members' development through direct feedback, recognition, coaching, demonstrations, and hands-on learning opportunities.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive team atmosphere by building collaborative relationships.
- Serve as Supervisor on Duty during store hours by actively leading the floor, delivering technical product education, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Eligibility and Work Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the country where the store operates.
- Reliable transportation to travel to the assigned store location.
Work Schedule
- Schedules vary depending on store needs, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- During peak seasons, special events, or other special circumstances, shifts may include early mornings or late-night/overnight hours.
Experience and Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of professional experience.
- Some background in inventory management, product or visual merchandising, restocking, planning, logistics, or using business technologies for related tasks.
- Experience in leadership functions such as mentoring, delegating, or implementing processes.
- Preferred education: high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Additional beneficial experience includes retail, sales, distribution center, or warehouse operations, along with the ability to analyze business reports and metrics to guide decisions.
- For experiential stores that offer food/beverage service only: food safety and/or liquor service certifications are assets.

Work Environment
- The role requires moving throughout the store, involving areas with bright lighting and loud music at the front, and typically windowless, darker conditions at the back.
- Work is conducted both independently and collaboratively with a team, including use of computers and technical devices.
- Occasional lifting of boxes up to 30 pounds and use of ladders to access materials.
- For experiential stores serving food and beverages: operation of industrial kitchen equipment and exposure to heat may be required.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base hourly wage ranging from $22.75 to $26.17, adjusted according to local minimum wage standards.
- Target bonus of $2.00 per hour.
- Estimated total target hourly compensation between $24.75 and $28.17, reflecting pay-for-performance philosophy.

This vacancy is an existing position opening; initial jobs at new pop-up stores are considered new roles, while subsequent openings at the same location are treated as existing vacancies.
