Key Responsibilities

  • Own the comprehensive product roadmap and strategy for U.S. equities margin trading, short selling, or options trading products.
  • Craft detailed product requirements and lead cross-functional coordination with teams including Engineering, Risk, Trading, Operations, Compliance, and Clearing Brokers.
  • Develop workflows around margin, buying power, risk management, and liquidation that balance user experience with regulatory mandates and platform risk considerations.
  • Partner with clearing brokers and upstream service providers to integrate financing, securities lending, option clearing, and settlement functionalities.
  • Work closely with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards across different global markets.

Candidate Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in fintech product management, with a minimum of 2 years focused on U.S. equities brokerage products.
  • Proven expertise in either client-facing domains (such as market data, market discovery, or stock-specific content) or backend trading systems (including trading operations, account management, clearing, and settlement), alongside the ability and willingness to rapidly develop knowledge in the complementary domain.
  • In-depth understanding of U.S. equities trading mechanics, settlement procedures, clearing processes, market data ecosystems, financial statements and valuation methods, as well as the impact of corporate actions on accounts and positions.
  • Strong proficiency in creating precise product requirement documents (PRDs) including definitional frameworks, calculation mechanisms, state machines, and comprehensive edge-case scenarios, along with excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach comfortable with ambiguity and capable of delivering consistent, quality work within established structures.
