Product Manager - Cybersecurity

Position Overview

We are looking for a Product Manager with a strong cybersecurity focus (candidates with a Business Analyst background may also be considered) to enhance user engagement and manage stakeholders for our cybersecurity products. Working closely with the lead Product/Programme Manager, you will help define product strategy, grasp user needs, evaluate product impact, and turn security requirements into impactful features. The role includes leading agile ceremonies and partnering with development teams to promote continuous progress and delivery quality.

This position demands taking charge of product management responsibilities such as strategic roadmap development and ongoing evaluation of the product's security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the lead Product/Programme Manager to formulate and implement product strategy and vision
• Manage specific cybersecurity product features or modules
• Create and sustain a product roadmap consistent with overall objectives
• Perform market research and competitor analysis to guide product choices
• Build persuasive business cases for feature enhancements and additions
• Oversee full product lifecycle management for assigned functionalities

• Lead user research to gain profound insights into user requirements and challenges
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Work jointly with UX and development teams to design user-centric security solutions
• Conduct regular product evaluations and review sessions with users and stakeholders
• Convert user feedback into clear, actionable product requirements

• Facilitate all sprint ceremonies including planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Champion continuous process improvements within development teams
• Manage sprint backlogs ensuring they align with the product roadmap
• Work with engineering leads to remove obstacles and enhance team productivity
• Promote a collaborative and innovative problem-solving culture
• Communicate product requirements and acceptance criteria effectively
• Balance addressing technical debt with implementing new features
• Moderate technical discussions between product and engineering teams
• Prioritize and manage the product backlog considering business value and technical limitations
• Guide sprint planning and backlog refinement activities
• Lead product launches and coordinate go-to-market strategies
• Ensure products comply with applicable security standards and regulations
• Monitor and analyze product metrics to support data-driven decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Between 3 and 5 years of product management experience, with a proven record of guiding product roadmaps and strategies
• Preferably have a background or exposure to cybersecurity solutions
• Experience delivering enterprise software products through end-to-end processes
• Proven capability working in agile environments and guiding cross-functional teams
• Experience managing stakeholders at multiple organizational tiers
• Proficiency in product discovery, development, and launch procedures
• Skilled at collecting and transforming customer needs into product features
• Successful collaboration history with engineering teams in agile settings
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies and frameworks
• Competence in product management software such as JIRA, Confluence, and analytics tools
• Knowledgeable about software development lifecycle processes
• Experience with UX principles and design thinking
• Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills
