Role Purpose

This Product Manager role offers the opportunity to define core platform components within Stripe's Connect product. You will address complex, evolving challenges by developing scalable, flexible platform primitives that serve diverse products and customers globally. Your strategic and hands-on efforts will influence Stripe's product ecosystem and accelerate new market capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft and refine a clear, compelling vision for Connect's future.
• Formulate strategies for impactful projects targeting modern marketplaces and software platforms.
• Convert product strategies and customer insights into detailed requirements.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute product initiatives successfully.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, analytics, marketing, sales, and customer success groups.
• Engage directly with customers to understand their challenges and incorporate feedback.
• Communicate product plans effectively to Stripe's leadership, integrating received input.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of three years in product management roles.
• Academic or practical background in computer science or related experience.
• Exemplary product judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Proven leadership managing initiatives requiring coordination among multiple teams.
• Strong written and oral communication proficiency.
• Demonstrated persistence and resourcefulness to ensure successful product outcomes.

Work Environment

The position supports flexible hybrid arrangements, available for office-based employees or remote workers located at least 35 miles (56 kilometers) from a Stripe office. Office-based employees are expected to spend a minimum of 50% of their work time in the office monthly, fostering collaboration while allowing flexibility. Remote workers typically work from home but are encouraged to participate in meetings and events at offices when possible. Stripe does not cover relocation expenses for remote placements.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual US base salary range for this role is $214,300 to $321,500, subject to adjustment based on experience, qualifications, and location. Additional possible compensation includes equity, bonuses, or commissions. Benefits offerings include a 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision coverage, and wellness stipends.
