About the Role

A dynamic early-stage fintech company based in London is looking to onboard its first dedicated product manager. This fast-growing startup serves live customers and is scaling rapidly. Joining a compact founding team of roughly ten experienced operators, you will be instrumental in driving product initiatives that deliver tangible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the product roadmap by translating business priorities and customer insights into a strategic, prioritized plan spanning multiple product features.
• Lead early-stage development by prototyping features leveraging AI, including user interfaces, internal tools, and integration solutions—transforming ideas directly into functional code.
• Create detailed requirement specifications with clear edge cases and acceptance criteria to enable engineers to execute efficiently with minimal rework.
• Engage closely with engineering teams in system architecture discussions, confidently contributing to design choices and technical trade-offs.
• Oversee delivery pipelines including maintaining the backlog, resolving blockers, and managing Jira workflows through to successful product launches.
• Coordinate partner integrations by defining scope for API and third-party connection projects into manageable development tasks.

• Strong judgment in product decision-making, capable of ruthlessly prioritizing and delivering what matters most instead of trying to build everything.
• Approximately 2 to 5 years of experience in product management, engineering, or other technical roles, showing proactive accountability.
• Proven track record launching a product from concept to use by real customers.
