Role Overview
As a Product Manager at Ema, you will own and steer product strategy and vision by analyzing market trends, understanding user needs, and aligning with business goals. You will engage in comprehensive market and user research, map customer requirements into actionable product features, and define user personas to guide development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and articulate the product roadmap reflecting market insights and company objectives.
- Partner with leadership and stakeholders to ensure product alignment with corporate goals.
- Perform competitive analysis and identify market gaps.
- Translate customer feedback into product specifications and prioritize features accordingly.
- Work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to produce user-centric, functional products.
- Manage product development timelines and milestones efficiently.
- Collaborate across sales, marketing, and support teams for effective product launches.
- Communicate product progress and address issues across technical and non-technical teams.
- Establish key performance metrics and continuously monitor post-launch product performance for iterative improvements.
- Maintain stakeholder relations including external partners and vendors.
- Contribute to go-to-market planning, executing strategies, and training for internal teams and customers.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related discipline; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum 5 years in product management within technology or software sectors.
- Proficient understanding of agile product development methodologies.
- Capable of influencing and collaborating across diverse teams without direct supervisory authority.
- Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational capabilities and project management expertise.
- Preferred familiarity with project management tools like JIRA or Asana.
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles and experience working with APIs and technical teams.
- Data-driven approach including experience with A/B testing and user research methods.
