Job description
About KIRA
KIRA is dedicated to making financial management smarter, dependable, and accessible to everyone. Established in 2019, we pioneered Southeast Asia's leading mobile-first insurance platform, serving millions. Expanding beyond insurance, we aim to empower users in Asia with tools for spending, saving, investing, exchanging, traveling, and more, harnessing AI to transform personal finance in this generation.
Role Overview
We seek ambitious product engineers to oversee product segments within KIRA's AI-driven stockbroking platform. This role demands individuals passionate about shaping user-centric financial products, collaborating closely across teams, rapidly launching features, and iterating continuously to enhance the user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product domains spanning insurance, payments, savings, investing, travel, or other financial services.
- Identify user challenges, define product scope, measure success, develop roadmaps, and devise launch strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering, design, data analytics, operations, compliance, and business units.
- Simplify complex financial products into intuitive and user-friendly customer journeys.
- Leverage data, user feedback, research, and operational insights to inform product improvements.
- Launch new features, track performance metrics, and drive iterative refinement.
- Balance considerations such as development speed, user experience, business goals, compliance constraints, and operational complexity.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in roles such as Product Manager, Product Owner, startup founder, or similar positions focusing on product growth and operations.
- Strong intuition for product design and ability to distill complex workflows into simple solutions.
- Comfortable collaborating with engineers and designers to deliver tangible products.
- Capability to work with metrics, conduct user research, run experiments, and adapt following product launches.
- Excellent communication, prioritization skills, and stakeholder management.
- High sense of ownership and independence in driving tasks with little oversight.
- Background in fintech, insurance, payments, consumer applications, or fast-scaling products is highly advantageous.
Ideal Attributes
- User problem-focused mindset rather than feature-driven.
- Decision-making ability despite incomplete information.
- Agility to ship quickly and learn from user interactions post-launch.
- Team player who collaborates closely with engineering teams beyond formal processes.
- Transparency in attributing success fairly among team contributions and personal efforts.
Unsuitable Candidates
- Those who only prepare presentations without leading effective execution.
- Product managers distant from engineering implementation.
- Candidates waiting for perfect data prior to decision-making.
- Individuals who neglect products after release.
- Product managers who overstate business outcomes without clear understanding of causality.
Location & Language
This position is fully remote but open exclusively to candidates currently residing in Ireland. English proficiency is essential as it is the primary language used globally within the team.
Interview Procedure
- Complete an online assessment or practical task.
- Attend a role-specific interview.
- Participate in a final interview with the CEO.
We prioritize swift recruitment, aiming to finalize offers within one week from interview commencement. Prompt completion of assessments will accelerate consideration.
