Produce Team Lead

Position Overview

The Produce Team Lead supports leadership in managing Fresh department processes, addresses issues and inquiries, and helps develop team members through training and coaching. This role focuses on maintaining high levels of customer service while ensuring tasks are completed effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers courteously, assisting with product promotions, aiding merchandise location and purchase decisions, resolving issues, and directing concerns appropriately.
• Help coordinate and prioritize task completion guided by directions from the Fresh Coach and Store Management, delegating duties and following up on daily Customer Availability tasks.
• Evaluate the presentation and appearance of Fresh departments, identify deficiencies, and implement merchandising changes as needed.
• Maintain strong communication among associates by leading daily team meetings to provide updates, set objectives, and monitor productivity.
• Collaborate with the People Lead to review completed schedules and assign associates to support coverage and availability tasks across all store areas.
• Conduct tours with the Coach and associates to identify training opportunities, deliver coaching, and provide constructive feedback.
• Promote a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment by adhering to company policies and procedures, completing safety sweeps, and ensuring display fixtures are secure and tidy.
• Perform GTA/Workday tasks and assist management functions as needed.
• Work with the Coach and People Lead to manage performance conversations and support recruitment and onboarding efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Additional Information

The starting hourly wage for this position is $19.25.

This role is located at 2881 Main St SE, Airdrie, Alberta, Canada.
