Key Responsibilities

• Regularly rotate produce and remove expired items to guarantee freshness and quality.
• Ensure accurate pricing and proper signage for all produce, adhering to ordering, clearance, and markdown protocols.
• Comply with food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including temperature monitoring and proper handling in line with sell-by and expiration dates.
• Stock merchandise efficiently, apply product protection as necessary, and arrange modular displays to maintain full stocking of the department.
• Adhere to health and safety policies to uphold a secure and clean work environment.
• Be available for various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support store operations effectively.

Challenges in the Role

• Manage overnight shifts while maintaining energy and focus in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of tasks.
• Complete restocking and recovery tasks accurately and promptly despite workload intensity.
• Handle physical demands such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive tasks like stocking and organizing with attention to detail to maintain store standards.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $18.70 per hour.
