• Verify accurate product pricing and signage, following established protocols for ordering, markdowns, clearance, and labeling.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including carrying out temperature checks and correct food handling, to comply with expiration and sell-by dates.
• Stock merchandise efficiently, downstock as required, apply product protection when necessary, and arrange modular displays to keep the department well supplied.
• Observe all health and safety policies to help maintain a secure and clean workspace.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.

Challenges

• Manage high workloads during busy periods, particularly overnight shifts, by planning to stay alert and focused.
• Handle fast-paced restocking and recovery tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
• Meet physical demands including extended standing, bending, and lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing tasks with thoroughness to uphold store standards.

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this position is $18.05 per hour.
