Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a tidy and well-organized produce section that is always ready for customers.
• Regularly check the quality and freshness of produce by rotating stock and removing expired items.
• Ensure that all produce is accurately priced and properly labeled following store procedures for ordering, clearance, and signage.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, sanitation standards, and cold chain protocols including temperature monitoring and compliance with sell-by dates.
• Restock and downstock merchandise as needed, apply product protection measures, and set modular displays to keep the department fully stocked and visually appealing.
• Follow all health and safety policies to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Be flexible in work hours, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, supporting smooth store operations and consistent customer service.

Challenges

• Manage high volumes of tasks in a fast-paced environment, especially during overnight shifts, requiring good energy and focus.
• Physically demanding duties including standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items up to 50 lbs, along with repetitive stocking and organizing tasks.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.70.

Qualifications

Minimum requirement: Must be at least 16 years old.
