Role Overview

As a Produce Clerk, you play an integral role in creating a seamless shopping experience by ensuring our produce department remains fully stocked and appealing. Your work directly contributes to customer satisfaction and store success. Comprehensive training will be provided to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and standards consistently.
• Welcome customers warmly and offer courteous service aligned with Sobeys programs.
• Keep shelves stocked with fresh fruits, vegetables, frozen, perishable, and non-perishable products.
• Prepare and maintain attractive product displays as per company guidelines.
• Conduct stock rotation to maintain product freshness.
• Assist with loading and unloading inventory for the sales floor.
• Manage back office operations and inventory control.
• Help operate the cash register during peak periods when necessary.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Store Manager.
• Be available for shifts during evenings and weekends.

• Ability to stoop, kneel, and squat as needed.
