Job description
Role Summary
The Procurement Specialist position, reporting directly to the Senior Supply Chain Project Manager, focuses on strategic sourcing, effective purchasing, and managing costs aligned with organizational goals. This role emphasizes supplier management, contract negotiations, ensuring timely delivery, overseeing inventory control, and adherence to internal policies and regulations.
Key Duties
- Engage in strategic sourcing initiatives to meet company objectives
- Manage procurement activities efficiently while controlling costs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, handling negotiations effectively
- Guarantee the punctual supply of goods and services
- Oversee cost management and inventory levels
- Comply with corporate policies and regulatory requirements
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to foster ongoing operational improvements
- Analyze procurement-related data to support informed decision-making
Candidate Requirements
- Only UAE nationals holding a family book are eligible to apply
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles
- Strong negotiation capabilities and the aptitude to cultivate supplier partnerships
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and familiar with procurement software tools
- Fluent in English; additional proficiency in Arabic or French is an advantage
