Procurement Specialist

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, responsible for managing supplier relationships and sourcing materials efficiently to meet organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement sourcing strategies for engaging new local vendors.
• Assess supplier quotations critically and negotiate to secure preferable pricing and contract terms.
• Conduct supplier visits to maintain and strengthen relationships.
• Negotiate payment terms, delivery timetables, pricing, and overall service conditions with suppliers.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams such as Production, Engineering, and Maintenance to identify specifications for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) materials, verify requirements, and prioritize procurement demands.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
• At least two years of professional experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
• Proficient user of ERP software and Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; capability in data analysis is an added benefit.
• Must demonstrate excellent proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
