Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Officer to join the team based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The role involves managing the complete procurement cycle to optimize cost efficiency and operational effectiveness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
• Manage all phases of procurement, including supplier research, negotiation, issuing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
• Supervise logistics operations covering transportation, inventory, and shipment processes.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance standards.
• Support financial procurement functions such as vendor payment processing and budget oversight.
• Handle legal aspects related to procurement, including contract administration and resolving disputes.
• Offer strategic guidance to leadership on procurement and logistics matters.
• Remain current on industry developments and best practices in supply chain and procurement management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline with verified experience in procurement positions.
• Strong analytical capabilities coupled with negotiation expertise, able to analyze complex data and foster supplier partnerships.
• Experience with procurement software and comprehensive knowledge of procurement procedures and international trade laws.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective performance in a dynamic work environment.
• Fluent in English; familiarity with Saudi Arabian commercial practices is a plus.
