Procurement MDM Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a Procurement MDM Analyst based in Ahmedabad, India, to ensure the integrity and governance of procurement and supply chain master data. You will support multiple functions such as sourcing, purchasing, inventory, and supplier management by maintaining accurate master data within ERP and associated systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, update, and validate supplier/vendor master data, material master records, and associated attributes following established standards.
• Ensure adherence to naming conventions, mandatory fields, and compliance with internal policies.
• Detect and manage duplicate entries, inactive suppliers, and outdated materials; perform normalization of names and codes.
• Validate data accuracy and completeness against internal policies and relevant external sources.
• Execute data cleansing and enrichment according to predefined business rules and guidelines.
• Carry out quality assessments regularly using dimensions such as accuracy, completeness, validity, and uniqueness.
• Track and resolve data issues within SLA timeframes; escalate systemic issues and suggest corrective measures to MDM leadership.
• Produce dashboards and reports illustrating data quality status, progress metrics, and issue tracking.
• Comply with procurement policies and facilitate audit requirements with appropriate evidence and documentation.
• Maintain and update master data cleansing rules, governance workflows, and user guides/FAQs for procurement data management.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, and IT.
• Engage in governance forums and recommend continuous improvements in master data management practices.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience in procurement and supply chain master data management.
• Strong knowledge of master data management principles, methodologies, and best practices in procurement and supply chain.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Familiarity and experience with enterprise data management systems and tools.
• Experience working with data governance frameworks and Master Data Management (MDM) technologies.
• Hands-on expertise with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Fusion, and/or MDM tools is essential.
