Procurement Manager

Position Overview

UCC Holdings is in search of a seasoned Procurement Manager to oversee and steer procurement activities for an esteemed hotel and resort construction venture. This individual will be pivotal in sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and supervising suppliers and subcontractors to guarantee the timely supply of quality materials, equipment, and services while staying within project budgetary constraints.

Core Duties

• Formulate and execute procurement strategies and plans tailored to the project.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Handle Requests for Quotations (RFQs), manage tender processes, assess bids, and negotiate contracts.
• Ensure procurement of necessary civil, architectural, MEP, and finishing materials aligns with project timelines.
• Oversee procurement scheduling to maintain project flow.
• Monitor budgets, realize cost savings, and manage procurement-related expenses.
• Foster and sustain robust relationships with suppliers, ensuring adherence to contract terms.
• Collaborate with teams across project management, engineering, commercial, and logistics functions.
• Adhere strictly to company policies and comply with local regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
• Brings over a decade of procurement experience specifically within civil construction, with preference for backgrounds involving hotel or resort projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials, machinery, and subcontractor management.
• Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiations and supplier relationship oversight.
• Strong commercial insight paired with analytical capability and excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement management software.
• Experience on international or remote island construction projects is considered a plus.
