Job Overview
The company is hiring a Procurement Engineer responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, machinery, spare parts, consumables, and packaging supplies. The candidate will engage closely with suppliers as well as production and maintenance teams. Strong technical understanding, independent procurement management, and negotiation expertise are essential for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure raw materials, machinery, spare parts, consumables, and packaging components.
- Identify and cultivate dependable suppliers.
- Utilize platforms like Indiamart and Trade India for sourcing.
- Request and evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing and contractual terms.
- Comprehend technical specifications related to machinery and spare parts.
- Liaise with production, maintenance, and store departments.
- Ensure supplier adherence to quality standards and delivery schedules.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educational background: B.Tech, B.E., Diploma, B.Sc., or equivalent technical qualification.
- At least 5 years of procurement experience in industries such as mineral processing, mining, manufacturing, cement, steel, or heavy industry.
- Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical machinery plus industrial spare parts.
- Strong skills in supplier management and negotiation.
- Effective communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Capability to operate independently in a manufacturing environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly net salary ranging from 20,000 to 40,000 INR.

The role is based in the Mandaldah Industrial Area, Kapasan Highway, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan.
Minimum education
Diploma / ITI / Vocational
