About the Role
Join the dynamic team at NZ Post as a Processing Officer responsible for sorting, consolidating, and dispatching parcels and freight at the Syd Bradley Road facility in Yaldhurst, Christchurch. This fixed-term position extends until October 2027, covering parental leave, and offers the chance to be part of New Zealand’s parcel delivery mission supported by teamwork and advanced technology.
Work Schedule and Compensation
- Hourly wage of $26.75
- Work hours from Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Contract valid until October 2027

Candidate Profile
- Availability during specified hours (Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
- A strong commitment to teamwork and maintaining safety for oneself, colleagues, and the facility
- Physical capability to lift packages up to 25 kilograms
- Attention to detail and good understanding of geography
