About the Role
Join NZ Post's dynamic team in Taupō as a Processing Officer Forklift operator, where you'll play a crucial role in sorting, consolidating, and dispatching parcels and freight to support timely deliveries. This hands-on position requires operating a forklift for up to six hours per shift with a strong emphasis on professionalism and health and safety standards. Working hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 5 AM to 8 AM at our Spa Road facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort and prepare parcels for dispatch to ensure smooth courier delivery operations.
- Operate a forklift safely and competently during shifts.
- Contribute actively to maintaining a safe, secure, and team-oriented work environment.
Candidate Profile
- Must hold a valid Forklift OSH certification and/or F Endorsed Driver's License.
- Physically capable of handling loads up to 25 kilograms.
- Detail-oriented with good geographical awareness.
- A dedicated team player focused on safety for self and coworkers.
- Availability to work early morning shifts Tuesday through Saturday.
