Process Technician

Job Overview

This role involves ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant, focusing on achieving key performance indicators and annual objectives. The Process Technician will support operational readiness, including walkdowns, punch listing, and preparing standard operating procedures and routine schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate the plant's operational readiness through activities like walkdowns, documenting punch lists, and creating SOPs and routine schedules.
• Manage operations to maintain safety, reliability, and efficiency standards.
• Work towards meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and annual planning targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, quality, and industry regulations.
• Oversee the safe and dependable operation of plant assets.
• Investigate and resolve process issues and operational outages promptly.
• Contribute to process improvement, productivity enhancement, and reliability projects.
• Plan, supervise, and execute operational activities effectively.
• Adhere strictly to all operational procedures, routines, and documentation requirements.
• Ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations and timely supply commitments.
• Plan and carry out Turnaround (TAR) operational activities efficiently.
• Manage controllable site expenses responsibly.
• Provide timely and precise operational data reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

• ITE qualification in Chemical Process Technology or a Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Preferably 3 to 6 years of operational experience in process plant operations and site activities within the petrochemical, gas, or chemical industry.
• Experience in Air Separation Unit (ASU) operations is advantageous.
