Role Overview
The Process Technician will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting production machinery to uphold device quality and regulatory compliance, optimize process output, and reduce operational costs. The position involves a rotation of day and evening shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment ensuring optimal functioning and efficiency.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery as needed.
- Conduct quality inspections of products and processes to meet onsite standards.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of operational data for compliance and analytical purposes.
- Adhere strictly to all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and onsite safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training and aid in the onboarding and cross-training of new team members.
- Undertake additional assigned duties relevant to the role.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Well-versed in GMP principles and compliance standards.
- Ability to achieve individual, team, and organizational goals effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for teamwork and communication across all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational abilities coupled with analytical and problem-solving skills for routine decision-making.
- Keen understanding of operational procedures and process improvement techniques, including Lean methodologies.
- Proficient written and spoken English communication skills.
- Computer skills, particularly with MS Office tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Capable of collecting, analyzing, and reporting production data effectively.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- Minimum Level 6 qualification in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical/Automation Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or equivalent trade certification.
- At least 2 years of experience working in GMP or similarly regulated environments.
- Verification of education, licenses, and certifications will be necessary as applicable.
