We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Process Operator to join our Wiri-based, high-performance team. This role involves operating highly automated machinery. Applicants must have unrestricted full-time work rights in New Zealand.

Role Details

  • Location: Wiri, Auckland
  • Shift: Monday to Friday
  • Working hours: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Employment type: Permanent full-time
  • Selection includes interview, assessment, background checks, and pre-employment medical evaluations

Responsibilities

  • Manage industrial cooking equipment and production machinery efficiently
  • Operate automated robotic systems to package chips into packets and boxes
  • Accurately record, report, and input data into computerised systems
  • Conduct effective flavour testing to ensure product quality matches production runs
  • Perform quality control checks and handle materials and waste management appropriately

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Minimum qualification: NCEA Level 1-3 or equivalent
  • Previous experience operating processing machinery is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) is a plus
  • Strong focus on safety and compliance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • High mechanical aptitude accompanied by meticulous attention to detail and reliability
  • Capable of collaborating effectively within an efficient food production team
