Role Overview

The Process Engineer will be a vital member of the process engineering team supporting an innovative production value stream. Responsibilities include driving process improvements, addressing complex process challenges, and supporting both internal and external product transfers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership within a specific manufacturing value stream.
• Work closely with New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to complete process characterization, challenge testing, capability, and stability assessments, ensuring new products and processes are qualified in line with annual business objectives.
• Implement and identify continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and increase equipment efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to identify and resolve process quality issues through corrective and preventive actions.
• Use data-driven problem-solving techniques for decision-making and contribute effectively to cross-functional teams.
• Ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of innovative, high-quality products across multiple value streams.
• Lead process redesign projects from initial concept to installation and qualification of new equipment.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously within a dynamic environment.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment, system, and process challenges applying statistical and analytical methods.
• Communicate findings and updates throughout the organization.
• Stay informed of current process engineering technologies and innovations to continuously improve performance standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (Level 8, honours) in Physics, Chemistry, Biological Science, or Mechanical, Material, or Process Engineering.
• At least seven years of experience in manufacturing or a related industrial environment with a demonstrated ability to deliver results.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Process Capability Analysis, Hypothesis Testing, and Black Belt level problem-solving methodologies is advantageous.
• Experience with equipment validation in compliance with FDA regulations is preferred.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of leading successful cross-functional teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and engage effectively with peers.

Benefits

The role offers an annual base salary range from €42,400 to €67,965. Beyond the salary, there is an annual performance-related bonus or commissions depending on grade and location.
