Role Overview

The Process Analyst will serve as the central data and analytics liaison for Kerry’s Enzyme Process Technology team, spanning three production locations. The role focuses on collecting, organizing, analyzing, and presenting process data from the complete microbial enzyme production cycle.

Primary Responsibilities

• Gather and harmonize process and production data from multiple platforms such as SAP, EPM/MES/LIMS/SCADA systems, and local Excel datasets.
• Address discrepancies between different data sources to enhance data clarity and traceability in manufacturing performance.
• Gain a thorough understanding of SAP master data and its effect on process orders, confirmations, yields, and reporting.
• Perform analytics on process data covering inoculum preparation, fermentation parameters, downstream operations, and yield metrics.
• Produce robust analysis on key performance indicators like yields, throughput, unit recovery, enzyme concentration, productivity, and impact assessments of losses and variability.
• Support continuous improvement and process optimization programs with analytical insights.
• Work with high-frequency data sources including PAT and IoT sensors alongside batch and transactional data.
• Design and implement effective data architecture and frameworks to improve access, reliability, and reduce manual data manipulation.
• Standardize data flows integrating SAP with reporting tools, and maintain clear documentation of data sources, assumptions, and processing methods.
• Create clear, visually effective reports and dashboards, primarily using Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint to communicate complex datasets.
• Collaborate closely with Process Technology teams to improve data transparency, interpret biological data, and align on data collection and modeling strategies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Science, Biotechnology, or related disciplines; MSc or PhD preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in data engineering within manufacturing or process-based environments managing diverse and complex data streams.
• Competent to advanced level process and data analytics expertise applicable in industrial settings.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and similar analytical platforms is essential.
• Experience with SAP data management is highly advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of data modeling, architecture, and scalable analytical frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working effectively across multidisciplinary teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
