Role Overview

The Privileged Access Management (PAM) Professional will be accountable for designing, deploying, and managing controls related to privileged access within the organization's IT and security frameworks. This full-time position based in Doha demands managing PAM solutions, defining policies for access, monitoring privileged sessions to mitigate security vulnerabilities, and adhering to compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Administer PAM tools and manage the full lifecycle of privileged accounts from onboarding to termination.
  • Establish workflows and approval procedures for privileged access.
  • Conduct periodic reviews to verify appropriate access rights.
  • Collaborate closely with security, network, and infrastructure teams to integrate PAM solutions with existing systems.
  • Respond to incidents involving privileged privileges promptly and effectively.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and metrics related to privileged access governance and compliance.
  • Support continuous enhancement of PAM processes and participate in audit activities to satisfy regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience with enterprise PAM platforms such as Miniorange, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Thycotic/Delinea, including privileged session monitoring expertise.
  • Proficient in information security fundamentals like access control design, implementing least-privilege principles, password vaulting, and role-based access management.
  • Strong infrastructure knowledge, including Windows and Linux server environments, Active Directory, networking basics, and PAM integration within both on-premises and cloud ecosystems.
  • Analytical aptitude for risk assessments, compliance procedures, audit support, and crafting thorough technical documentation.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for productive teamwork and stakeholder engagement, including conducting training sessions on PAM processes and tools.
  • Possession of relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or vendor-specific PAM certifications is highly advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
