Private Tutor and Nanny

Role Overview

This position is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai for a Private Tutor and Nanny. The role requires delivering personalized academic assistance, including homework help, test preparation, and enrichment aligned with the child's school curriculum and learning objectives. Additionally, the tutor-nanny will create engaging instructional sessions, foster creativity, and support the child's language development, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily routines and oversee educational as well as recreational activities.
• Assist with meal preparation and consumption.
• Manage scheduling and coordinate transportation as necessary.
• Maintain open and clear communication with parents or guardians, providing regular progress and wellbeing updates.
• Collaborate on required changes to learning plans and caregiving routines.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong background in educational support such as tutoring experience, lesson planning, and knowledge of curriculum standards.
• Proficiency in childcare and nannying, including age-appropriate oversight, behavioral management, and structuring flexible daily schedules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patience, empathy, and trust-building ability with children and families.
• Effective organizational and time management skills for scheduling and maintaining a safe, orderly environment.
• Cultural sensitivity and flexibility, with an appreciation for diversity and creativity.
• Relevant educational credentials such as a degree or certification in Education, Early Childhood, Child Development, or similar fields, or equivalent experience.
• Previous work in tutoring, teaching, nannying, or related child-centered professions; experience in Dubai or international contexts preferred.
• Commitment to full-time, on-site work in Dubai, demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and confidentiality in family matters.
