Principal Solutions Architect

Role Overview

Analog seeks a Principal Solutions Architect to serve as the foundational technical authority on a major digital transformation initiative. This role involves guiding technology direction, defining solution design, and establishing architectural standards consistently across all teams involved in delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine technology choices, solution architectures, and establish architectural standards for delivery teams building on the Hive platform.
• Own and manage the technical roadmap of the platform, ensuring it can scale efficiently to support new customers, integrations, and diverse use cases.
• Critically assess solution designs to ensure compliance with security policies, data sovereignty laws, scalability demands, and integration requirements prior to deployment.
• Maintain thorough architectural documentation and detailed decision records to keep all teams aligned as the platform evolves.
• Act as the principal architectural representative to clients, partners, and third-party vendors, effectively communicating technical decisions tailored to varied audiences.
• Support business development efforts and proposals by providing authoritative technical positions and solution designs.
• Collaborate with delivery and engineering leads to resolve technical obstacles and mediate design disputes.
• Mentor senior engineers on architectural best practices to continuously elevate the technical expertise of project teams.

Candidate Qualifications

• Proven extensive experience serving as a principal or lead solution architect for complex, multi-team platform projects.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, integration patterns, and platform security principles.
• Hands-on expertise in designing solutions for data sovereignty and highly regulated environments, preferably within defense or government sectors.
• Proven ability to credibly represent architecture decisions to clients, partners, and vendors.
• Sound judgment in balancing competing priorities such as scalability, security, and delivery timelines.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating both detailed technical insights and executive-level summaries.
