About the Role
Join an Irish-owned technology firm, supported by €50 million in investment, known for its mission-critical financial platform that currently supports over 160 live integrations in the finance sector. The company seeks a Principal Software Engineer to influence the evolution of their platform through hands-on technical leadership, focusing on architecture, scalability, and engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and direct the architecture and technical strategy of the platform.
- Address complex challenges related to scalability and integration.
- Mentor and guide Senior Engineers to elevate team technical standards.
- Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders in Engineering and Product teams.
- Make visible and impactful contributions to the platform’s future development.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience managing software engineering teams.
- Strong expertise in C# and .NET technologies.
- Proven track record in designing systems and architecting solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience working with complex integrations and scalable system architectures.
