Role Overview
As a Principal Software Engineer (AI) at Future Secure AI, you will lead the technical vision for enterprise AI Co-Worker products and platforms. You will steer architecture decisions, collaborate closely with both engineering teams and customers, and ensure that AI solutions are secure, scalable, and adaptable to various AI frameworks. This role thrives on solving complex, high-stakes problems with innovative approaches and a customer-centric mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the architectural design for AI Co-Worker systems enabling enterprise clients to deploy persona-based AI agents handling end-to-end operational workflows securely on their platforms.
- Develop human-in-the-loop frameworks to maintain human oversight in mission-critical AI deployments.
- Establish and enforce technical standards and development patterns across engineering teams.
- Innovate methods to combine deterministic and non-deterministic components in AI products operating in production.
- Maintain a platform architecture that is agnostic to AI models, enabling integration with various large language models and AI tools from both established and emerging technology providers.
- Engage directly with customers to thoroughly understand their requirements and deliver solutions that surpass expectations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Over a decade of professional software development experience, including extensive hands-on work with artificial intelligence technologies.
- Proficient in software development fundamentals, particularly using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with AI orchestration and framework tools such as LangChain or LangGraph.
- Proven ability to architect systems with a primary focus on security and data governance from design to deployment.
- Demonstrated success in guiding and advocating for architectural decisions within complex production settings.
- Excellent communication skills enabling alignment of technical strategies with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with perseverance to follow through effectively.
