Software Engineer - B2B SaaS Platform (Hybrid)

Your Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the platform’s technical advancement by proposing and implementing ideas to enhance robustness, performance, and scalability.
• Involve yourself in architectural and technical design decisions, ranging from feature-specific structures to broad concerns like data schemas and API strategies.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Business teams to develop user-focused technical solutions and confidently challenge requirements when improvements are apparent.
• Manage tasks in a structured, self-directed fashion—from planning through deployment and production monitoring—while maintaining code quality through reviews, testing, and proper documentation.
• Work alongside Senior Engineers and Tech Leads to grow technically via pair programming, joint design sessions, and open constructive feedback.

Required Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of software development experience, preferably in scaling SaaS companies where you've contributed to features and supported live production environments.
• Proficient in TypeScript and Node.js, with experience using NestJS on the backend complemented by familiarity with frontend frameworks like React.
• Demonstrated capability in designing modern APIs, understanding diverse system architectures, and data modeling, along with the ability to evaluate trade-offs among different technical options.
• Knowledgeable about deployment processes, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines, treating these elements as essential to development.
• Self-aware of your technical strengths and proactive in seeking assistance to overcome challenges efficiently.
• Solution-driven and pragmatic approach while closely aligning with the product vision; you habitually inquire "why" before deciding "how" to implement.
• Fluent communicator in English; German language skills are advantageous.
