Principal Product Manager - Technology for Featured Merchant Algorithm

About the Role

Join the team responsible for the Amazon Offers Experience, delivering the selection and display of the "Add to Cart" offer across all Amazon platforms globally. This function encompasses machine learning-driven offer ranking and selection, alongside crafting a top-tier front-end experience for customers to compare offers and make purchasing decisions. Our scalable frameworks empower various Amazon teams to innovate the Offers Experience effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the roadmap strategy and define priorities for the Featured Merchant Algorithm, which determines the offer featured on Amazon’s valuable "Buy Box" on Product Detail Pages and Search Pages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, applied scientists, TPMs, and senior leaders to strategize and launch new features enhancing customer buying experiences.
• Utilize data analytics to make customer-centric decisions and present the business and financial impact to key stakeholders.
• Lead multiple projects simultaneously involving diverse stakeholders to innovate and improve offer selection processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience owning and driving product roadmap strategy and feature delivery including managing tradeoffs.
• Strong background in technical product management with demonstrated experience working closely with engineering teams on product improvements.
• Familiarity with project management methods, business analysis, or process optimization is preferred.
