Job description

About Microsoft Agent 365

Agent 365 by Microsoft is the central system for managing AI agents in enterprises, enabling organizations to monitor, regulate, and secure a growing number of AI agents working within their operations. Integrated into the Microsoft 365 admin center and built on trustworthy platforms like Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Defender, Agent 365 treats AI agents as primary digital identities. It provides a centralized registry for discovery, lifecycle management, and enterprise-grade protections for identity, data, and threat defense, independent of the tools, frameworks, or models used to create these agents.

Role Overview

Located in Dublin, Ireland, this role seeks an experienced and strategic Principal Product Manager to lead innovation and product leadership for Agent 365’s agent management capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in generative AI, large language models (LLMs), small language models (SLMs), and agentic systems, along with proven experience managing engineering and product teams in enterprise SaaS environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for agent observability, governance, and security within the Agent 365 platform.
  • Work collaboratively with diverse teams such as Product Management, Engineering, Design, IT, Sales, and Marketing to align approaches and foster unified product development.
  • Engage with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders, including CISOs, CIOs, IT, and security leaders, to define requirements and drive growth across critical customer segments.
  • Lead integration efforts to ensure seamless interoperability within the Microsoft ecosystem, as well as with first-party, third-party, and open-source AI agents.
  • Support customer education through webinars, training, and informational resources.
  • Incorporate customer insights and feedback strategically into product planning and evolution.

Qualifications

  • Required: A Bachelor’s Degree combined with experience in product, service, or program management or software development; or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated track record of bringing products or features to market, optimizing product performance metrics such as customer growth and retention, and disrupting competitive markets.
  • Proven ability to coordinate product alignment across multiple product and engineering teams without direct authority.
  • Expertise in agent observability and operational governance, including monitoring, telemetry, auditing, cost accounting, and autonomous-agent orchestration technologies.
  • Experience working with IT and AI operations decision-makers such as CIOs and platform/AIOps leaders, ecosystem, and ISV partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating narratives tailored to both technical and executive audiences.

Compensation and Additional Information

The typical annual base salary range for this role in Ireland is €99,800 to €172,400. Eligible roles may also receive additional benefits and compensation.

This role will remain open for a minimum of five days, with continuous application acceptance until filled.
