Principal Product Manager

Overview

We are collaborating with a well-established international technology company specializing in enterprise SaaS solutions to recruit a Principal Technology Product Manager based in Ireland. This senior individual contributor role focuses on managing platform capabilities intersecting product development, engineering, and architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the strategic direction and roadmap for shared platform and technology capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and architecture teams to balance technical priorities and trade-offs.
• Advance API and integration functionality, as well as developer tooling and shared platform features.
• Take end-to-end ownership of the MCP server strategy.
• Manage prioritization of requirements across numerous stakeholders and product lines.
• Set definitive metrics tracking platform adoption, performance, and reliability.
• Facilitate scalable technical standards and generate supporting documentation.
• Support the integration of emerging AI technologies within the technology platform.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable extensive experience in product management.
• Strong background in technical, platform, or infrastructure-centric product roles.
• Solid understanding of API architectures, including REST, webhooks, versioning, and rate limiting within modern SaaS systems.
• Beneficial exposure to identity and access management protocols such as OAuth, OIDC, SSO, or directory synchronization.
• Technical expertise enabling credible collaboration with seasoned engineers and architects.
• Proven track record managing conflicting priorities across multiple teams.
• Sound judgement and capability to operate effectively within complex and ambiguous technical environments.

Additional Information

Experience with developer platforms, AI or agent-based technologies, or emerging technologies is a plus. The position accommodates candidates across Ireland with significant flexibility. Please note, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
