Evaluate subsurface information to establish accurate geological frameworks for reservoir simulation purposes.
Key Duties
- Interpret and validate subsurface data to recommend the best drill locations and well proposals, providing geological advice for drilling operations.
- Plan acquisition and interpretation of geological data for appraisal, development, and infill wells.
- Lead construction and updates of 3D reservoir static models to support dynamic simulation and field development planning.
- Maintain and update estimates of hydrocarbon volumes and uncertainty for resource/reserve reporting and annual reviews.
- Integrate geological data into short-, medium-, and long-term reservoir management and development initiatives.
- Engage actively in multidisciplinary, integrated studies pertaining to reservoir and field development.
- Lead geological and reservoir characterization efforts including core/thin-section sedimentology, diagenesis analyses, and collaborate with contractors on study programs.
- Ensure quality assurance and control of geological data and sustain geological databases.

- Strong practical experience building static reservoir models and expertise in geostatistics.
- Proficiency in well log analysis, seismic data interpretation, and reservoir simulation techniques.
- Know-how in horizontal well technology and geo-steering methods.
- Proven ability to perform in multicultural and cross-disciplinary team environments with strong communication skills across levels.
- Advanced academic qualifications are advantageous.
Software Proficiency
- Experience with Geoframe and Openwork software platforms.
