Principal Engineer - DevOps with Azure and Kubernetes Expertise

Role Overview

This role focuses on DevOps engineering with a strong emphasis on Azure cloud platform, Kubernetes, and associated CI/CD practices to ensure robust application deployment and maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain high availability of applications across multiple environments.
• Design and develop continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions with YAML.
• Oversee deployment management and environment promotions.
• Conduct infrastructure upkeep and active monitoring.
• Diagnose and resolve issues relating to builds, deployments, and infrastructure.

Required Technical Expertise

• Proficient with Microsoft Azure cloud services and networking concepts.
• Knowledgeable in implementing and maintaining security best practices.
• Capable of performing security scans and ensuring compliance standards.
• Experience troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters and workload management.
• Understanding and operating within air-gapped (isolated) environment constraints.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Bicep or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring solutions including LGTM stack and Dynatrace.
• Exposure to advanced automation and observability technologies.
