Role Overview
We are seeking a Principal Product Development Engineer to provide strategic technical leadership within our product engineering organization. This role will involve championing innovation in design techniques, offering expert solutions for complex engineering challenges, mentoring technical teams, and collaborating with senior management to influence product and organizational direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the strategic technical vision for product development efforts.
- Lead advancements in design methodologies and testing strategies.
- Act as a recognized technical expert resolving complex engineering problems.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to engineering teams while influencing the broader organization.
- Partner with senior leadership to shape overarching product strategies.
Essential Qualifications and Expertise
- Proven authority in product reliability engineering with published thought leadership.
- Mastery and strategic impact in electronic circuit design principles.
- Leadership experience in engineering complex mechanical and optical systems across domains.
- Significant contributions to digital signal processing implementation recognized across the industry.
- Expertise in optimizing production processes with methodologies that set industry benchmarks.
- In-depth knowledge of integrated circuit architecture contributing to next-generation technology development.
- Influence over qualification testing standards shaping practices within the organization and industry.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience with a strong record of technical leadership.
- Industry recognition for achievements in technical domains.
- Track record of strategic influence on the direction of organizations.
