Role Overview

As a crucial contributor to the product engineering team, you will own the complete lifecycle of major feature development, from initial concept through to deployment. You will collaborate closely with various teams to deliver features that enhance user experience, address scalability, improve platform integrations, and optimize performance. This role demands a deep understanding of distributed systems and practical experience on blockchain smart contract platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement decentralized protocols focused on crypto derivatives trading, including smart contract development, testing, and deployment.
• Create APIs and SDKs to facilitate robust trade execution capabilities.
• Manage system monitoring, alerting, analytics, and reporting to ensure services perform reliably and responsively.
• Communicate effectively cross-functionally to align on project objectives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 8 years of backend engineering experience driving projects from ideation through launch within strong engineering teams.
• Proficient in modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Golang, Java, and C++.
• Strong grasp of basic cryptography principles and experience developing upgradeable smart contracts using Solidity.
• Hands-on blockchain development experience, familiar with cloud-native AWS setups and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Deep understanding of cryptocurrency ecosystems and foundational technologies like blockchain consensus mechanisms (PoW, PoS) and layer 1 and layer 2 solutions.
• Interest in emerging blockchain innovations including ZK-Rollups.
