Principal Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Software Architect with extensive software development experience and proven success in delivering diverse systems across multiple technologies. The ideal candidate must understand enterprise-level application architectures well and possess a strong enthusiasm for applying Artificial Intelligence to craft innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales consulting engagements including RFx, discovery workshops, solution design, and project estimation.
• Conduct client workshops to uncover business needs and technical challenges, while proactively proposing AI-enabled innovations.
• Design robust application architectures aligned with business goals and technical constraints.
• Develop persuasive technical proposals and presentations to secure new projects.
• Provide accurate project scope and timeline estimates.
• Create and document high-level application architecture blueprints.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and challenges.
• Ensure solutions deliver intended business outcomes.
• Keep current with application development trends, particularly Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI advancements.
• Contribute reusable solutions, consulting frameworks, and methodologies.
• Integrate cutting-edge AI approaches in both solutions and delivery methods.

Requirements

• Robust software development background with enterprise delivery experience.
• Hands-on experience with a full stack of development technologies.
• Capability to rapidly craft solution designs in pre-sales contexts.
• Excellent facilitation skills to drive customer conversations and elicit high-level requirements effectively.
• Practical expertise in solution architecture.
• Proven track record in defining delivery strategies, creating estimates, and managing risk pricing.
• Experience acting as project or programme architect.
• Strong risk identification, mitigation, and delivery management skills.
• Experienced in cloud and containerized architectures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of modern cloud-based application frameworks and components.
• Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML concepts, frameworks, and their real-world application in solution and strategic consulting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with various programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Spring, C# .NET, Python, React, Angular.
• Experience with system integrations.
• Understanding of data and analytics methodologies, both legacy and modern.
• Knowledge or experience in Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) or platform implementations.
• In-depth expertise with Azure or AWS, particularly their AI/ML and Generative AI services like Azure OpenAI, AWS SageMaker, and Bedrock.
• Practical experience with large language models (LLMs) and integrating them into enterprise applications.
