Principal Backend Development Engineer (C++)

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of the backend infrastructure for the trading core system.
• Manage system upkeep, enhancements, and optimization to address challenges such as high concurrency, low latency, and stability concerns.
• Demonstrate strong business acumen by contributing to business-oriented system design, offering practical solutions, and authoring comprehensive technical documentation independently.
• Engage in researching and experimenting with cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to shaping the platform's future technological architecture.

Job Requirements

• Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Have a solid foundation in C++, including familiarity with open-source libraries like folly and boost; experience in studying high-quality open source component source code is advantageous.
• Be proficient in working with NoSQL caches, message queues, and search engine technologies such as Redis, Kafka, and Elasticsearch.
• Skilled in system analysis and design as well as code refactoring, with hands-on experience in designing foundation and application architectures for large-scale projects.
• Knowledgeable about designing and implementing distributed systems that handle high traffic, concurrency, and performance; experience in performance tuning is preferred.
• Additional expertise in full-stack development, trading system construction, or memory system construction is considered a plus.
