Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee technical architecture for each functional stream, converting approved solution architectures into actionable technical designs for Solution Architects and engineering teams, regardless of the technology stack.
• Implement and uphold engineering standards relating to coding, design patterns, integration methods, and CI/CD processes across all development teams in India.
• Lead comprehensive technical design reviews at the stream level to ensure adherence to the platform's global data and security models prior to development.
• Manage AI coding agents (such as Claude Code or equivalents) for architecture investigations, technical validations, and build-readiness demonstrations before handing off designs to engineers.
• Take ownership of troubleshooting technical defects and integration challenges during SIT/UAT phases, coordinating resolutions across multiple engineering teams.
• Coordinate technical dependencies across streams to ensure proper sequencing of build activities.
• Mentor and provide advanced technical escalation support to Solution Architects and Mid-Senior Engineers; serve as the final internal approval before designs are shared with the US Principal Architect.
• Oversee environment strategies including sandbox seeding, data refresh schedules, and release branching in alignment with the Senior Project Manager's release timelines.
• Monitor engineering technical debt and propose remediation plans via the architectural hierarchy rather than directly to clients.
• Assess and incorporate emerging tools, frameworks, and AI-driven development capabilities into the engineering workflow.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 13 years’ experience in enterprise technology roles with at least 8 years in architecture or senior technical leadership positions.
• Proven expertise translating approved solution architectures into detailed technical designs across multiple concurrent streams, independent of specific technology stacks.
• Strong, hands-on knowledge of contemporary software architecture, integration techniques, and DevOps tooling, with the flexibility to work across CRM platforms or full-stack web technologies.
• Experience directing or utilizing AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code or equivalent) in an agent-orchestrated development model is mandatory.
• Demonstrated leadership of distributed engineering teams through technical design, development, and defect resolution phases.
• Proven track record operating as an internal technical authority reporting to senior/principal architects rather than directly to clients.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Certifications in enterprise or cloud architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or platform-specific credentials.
• Experience in regulated industries including pharmaceuticals or healthcare distribution.
• Familiarity with managing technical debt and governance in offshore delivery settings.
