Role Overview

We seek a Principal AI Security Specialist experienced in bridging pioneering AI technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with enterprise-grade security. This role involves close collaboration with top enterprise clients, combining expert consultancy and deep technical knowledge to enable secure AI adoption without endangering data or infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI technical strategies alongside enterprise account teams, managing complex AI security sales opportunities from initiation through closure.
• Create and deliver impactful, customized demonstrations and proof of concepts (POVs) of Zscaler’s AI security platform tailored for both technical experts and executive stakeholders.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on modern AI usage patterns, advising clients on mitigating exposure risks and unauthorized AI deployments.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate customer insights into product enhancements and develop reusable demo materials and enablement resources to support global sales growth.
• Develop scalable technical assets, competitive positioning tools, and training content; empower enterprise teams with best practices and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and fluency in AI/GenAI technologies, including LLMs, RAG architectures, MCP orchestration patterns, and their security implications.
• Minimum 10 years in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Advisory, successfully handling enterprise-level sales processes.
• Strong foundation in cybersecurity concepts including Zero Trust, data loss prevention (DLP), cloud-native security platforms, and API integration.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills with proven ability to articulate complex AI topics in terms of business value and security for executive audiences.
• Experience working effectively across sales, engineering, product, marketing, and other teams in dynamic, high-growth environments.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with AI prototyping such as interacting with LLM APIs, scripting, agentic automation, and lightweight AI application development.
• Advanced expertise addressing AI-related risks including data leakage, governance, compliance frameworks, and shadow AI challenges in enterprise production environments.
• Proven ability to produce impactful enablement materials, technical workshops, and competitive positioning content to support field sales scale.
