Overview
Join Gallagher's Animal Management business, a global AgTech leader dedicated to creating innovative products that protect animals and support sustainable farming worldwide. This role offers a unique chance to shape pricing strategy and commercial decision-making across regions including New Zealand, Australia, North America, and Europe.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop robust pricing models, reporting frameworks, and processes to enhance transparency and consistency across markets.
- Evaluate pricing structures, promotional activities, margin trends, market movements, and competitor dynamics to uncover opportunities.
- Translate complex datasets and market intelligence into straightforward, actionable commercial insights and recommendations.
- Assist in pricing decisions related to new product launches, promotional campaigns, and overarching commercial strategies.
- Collaborate closely with sales, product development, finance, and regional leadership teams to support strategic pricing initiatives.
- Contribute to establishing a unified and strategic pricing approach within the Animal Management division.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is commercially focused, analytical, and inquisitive, comfortable diving into detailed data as well as considering the broader business context. Strong interpersonal skills are essential to effectively communicate insights and influence stakeholders across diverse functions without formal authority.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in commercial analysis, pricing, retail analytics, or product-focused roles.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced modeling and scenario analysis capabilities.
- Experience working with Power BI or comparable data reporting and visualization platforms.
- Deep understanding of commercial factors such as pricing strategies, margin optimization, and profitability metrics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, or a related field.
