Job description
About the Role
The Pricing Executive will play a critical role in negotiating and obtaining import freight rates from a variety of sources including shipping lines, airlines, Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers (NVOCC), and international agents. This position demands a strong capability to create competitive freight quotations across multiple shipment types such as Full Container Load (FCL), Less than Container Load (LCL), and Air freight.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure and negotiate freight rates for imports from shipping lines, airlines, NVOCCs, and overseas partners.
- Develop competitive pricing quotations for different shipment categories including FCL, LCL, and Air transport.
- Calculate comprehensive landed costs ensuring appropriate profit margins are met.
- Keep rate sheets and market trends current and accurate to aid decision-making.
- Work closely with overseas agents and internal departments to maintain smooth coordination.
