Job Overview
We are seeking a Pricing Actuary for a permanent role located in Hannover, Germany, offering up to 60% remote work flexibility. This role centers on pricing insurance products effectively, utilizing statistical modeling and collaborating with international analytics teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead calculation and continuous development of insurance products, balancing strategy, profitability, and underwriting guidelines.
- Create and enhance pricing models using statistical methods such as Generalized Linear Models (GLM) and conduct ongoing market and pricing analyses.
- Analyze and monitor portfolio and business progression through pertinent KPIs.
- Identify and assess insurance risks, implementing suitable mitigation strategies.
- Support sales, risk management, and other departments with projects and queries.
- Maintain close cooperation with global analytics and pricing teams to exchange best practices and innovative solutions.
Candidate Profile
- Completed studies in mathematics, statistics, actuarial mathematics, or equivalent disciplines, preferably with an actuarial focus.
- Several years of professional experience in pricing, actuarial fields, or insurance mathematics.
- Additional qualification as an Aktuar DAV is advantageous.
- Proficient in data analysis, statistical techniques, and programming using Python, Power BI, and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent numerical acumen, and an organized way of working.
- Excellent communication abilities and fluency in English and good command of German, both spoken and written.

Compensation
