Job description
Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Presales Executive with 3-5 years of experience specialized in tendering and proposal activities within the IT sector. The ideal candidate will be familiar with one or more government tender platforms such as GeBiz, Tender24x7, Gems, or other relevant portals. This full-time position is based onsite in Kolkata, Newtown.
Key Duties
- Research and analyze the market to uncover new business leads and client prospects.
- Gain and maintain deep knowledge of the company’s solutions and services.
- Prepare compelling proposals, tenders, and presentation pitches aimed at securing new customers.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure proposals are accurate and viable.
- Efficiently respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) with professionalism and timeliness.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices.
- Work together with marketing and design departments to create engaging brochures, case studies, and website content.
- Assist sales teams in shaping strategic approaches and spotting opportunities for upselling.
Candidate Profile
- Proven expertise in tendering, bidding, making proposals, and quotations.
- Experience using at least one governmental tender platform relevant to the IT domain.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint presentations.
- Familiarity with freelance bidding platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, and Guru is advantageous.
- Capable of conveying complex technical data clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in teams.
- Highly organized with good time management skills.
Interview Selection Process
- Initial application evaluation.
- Brief screening call lasting 5 to 10 minutes with the Talent Acquisition team.
- Technical interviews focusing on domain knowledge.
- Hands-on practical test in the presence of a panel member.
- Final alignment of role expectations followed by offer rollout.
