About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Presales Engineer to join a reputable ICT systems integrator in Dubai. This role requires a professional capable of comprehending customer requirements, architecting suitable technical solutions, preparing proposals and Bills of Quantities (BoQs), and actively contributing through the presales cycle in close coordination with sales teams, vendors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and gather both technical and business requirements from customers.
- Design and architect ICT and data center solutions tailored to requirements.
- Draft detailed technical proposals, solution designs, BoQs, and perform sizing of solutions.
- Manage requests for proposals (RFPs), quotations (RFQs), information (RFIs), and tender responses.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation, scopes of work, and compliance statements.
- Deliver technical presentations and demonstrate solutions to customers.
- Support sales efforts during client meetings and opportunity development phases.
- Collaborate with technology vendors and partners for solution formulation and pricing strategies.
- Assist in pricing and commercial discussions alongside the sales team.
- Engage in Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives as required.
- Clarify technical aspects during bidding and negotiation phases.
- Assist with smooth transfer of responsibilities from presales to implementation teams.
- Stay informed on trends and technologies in enterprise infrastructure and data centres.
Technical Expertise
- Proficient in servers and compute technologies.
- Experience with Storage systems including SAN/NAS.
- Networking infrastructure knowledge.
- Virtualization technologies.
- Backup and disaster recovery planning.
- Business continuity and high availability solutions.
- Data center infrastructure design and security.
- Cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Enterprise IT infrastructure management.
Familiarity with vendors/technologies such as Cisco, HPE, Dell, VMware, Microsoft, Fortinet, Sophos, Huawei, Veeam, Azure, or AWS will be advantageous.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Between 5 and 7 years of experience in presales roles focusing on ICT or IT infrastructure.
- Demonstrated expertise in data center or enterprise infrastructure within systems integration contexts.
- Proficient in designing solutions, developing BoQs, and composing technical proposals.
- Strong grasp of RFP, RFQ, RFI, and tender management processes.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
- Effective presentation skills and customer engagement capability.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, technical teams, vendors, and clients.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in UAE/GCC regions is a plus.
- Preference for immediate joiners or candidates able to relocate promptly.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly salary between AED 7,000 and AED 10,000, based on experience and fit.

Additional Information
Preferred candidates are those available for immediate joining or ready to relocate swiftly. This position is based onsite in Dubai, UAE.
