About the Role
Join HSBC as a Premier Wealth Relationship Manager, where you will manage a portfolio of high-value Premier clients. You will be responsible for acquiring, developing, and retaining these relationships, serving as a trusted financial advisor to clients while delivering portfolio growth, profitability, and meeting key performance indicators such as new client acquisition and wealth revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand a portfolio of Premier clients ensuring growth in assets under management and profitability.
- Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals by providing exceptional service and tailored financial advice.
- Conduct periodic financial and wealth reviews to identify client needs and recommend appropriate HSBC wealth solutions.
- Implement disciplined sales management practices including client engagement strategies, utilization of management information and tools, and accurate maintenance of CRM data.
- Comply with risk and control standards, delivering sales with adherence to quality and regulatory requirements.
- Fulfill all compliance responsibilities including Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), sanctions checks, and mandatory training.
- Contribute to HSBC’s profile through active client and community engagement initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in financial services or retail sales, with progressively responsible roles.
- Proven track record of achieving strong sales results specifically in insurance and investment products.
- Experience managing relationships with high-net-worth clients, including portfolio oversight and networking capabilities.
- Commitment to obtaining Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) accreditation within six months of employment by passing two mandatory exams: ICWIM Level 3 and UAE Financial Rules and Regulations.
- Strong technical knowledge in wealth management, financial products, and customer relationship management systems coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively with Compliance, Credit, Risk, and Internal Control teams in line with local regulations.
- Possession of a university degree is mandatory for UAE visa and work permit eligibility; degrees obtained outside the UAE must be attested and recognized according to UAE educational equivalency standards.
